Over time fabric hoods on convertibles can attract grime and mould leaving a car looking very un-appealing. When a hood has been cleaned it's best to get it treated to help prevent future problems, so this will be done as a matter of course in our service. Hood cleaning: This is tougher than you think, it normally takes around 3-4 deep cleans to pull all the dirt out of the fabric. We have a special brush attachment for our polisher sourced from the states to allow a thorough clean which hand brushing fails to achieve. We don't know of any other valeting company in the area that has this unique tool. Protection: After the hood is clean and dried as much as possible by using our unique air blower, a coat of Renovo hood protection to applied to the fabric. This (once dry) will make water bead on the fabric and prevent the fabric from saturation in the rain and water will simply roll off. This protection service is available as a sole option if you have a new convertible and you only want it protected. Plastic rear windows: Older convertibles usually have a plastic rear window, these over time can cloud over caused by weathering and scratching. We can restore the clarity by around 80% using a specialist polish designed solely for this purpose. We can give it a wash afterwards for free or we can valet it as well whilst we are there with an exterior or a full valet! 10% will be taken off the bill if you do!
